What we collect
We collect your email address when you subscribe to claudenotes. That is the only personal information we store. We do not collect names, payment information, or demographic data.
How we use it
Your email address is used exclusively to send you the weekly claudenotes newsletter. We do not sell, share, or rent your email to third parties. We do not send promotional emails beyond the newsletter you subscribed to.
Legal basis for processing
We process your email address based on your explicit consent, provided when you subscribe and confirm your email. You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.
Third-party services
We use the following services to operate claudenotes:
- Supabase for database storage (your email address and subscription status) — Privacy Policy

- Vercel for website hosting and analytics — Privacy Policy
These services process data only as necessary to provide their respective functions. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
Email analytics
We do not use tracking pixels in our emails. We do not track whether you open emails or click links. Resend, our email delivery provider, may collect delivery metadata (such as bounce and delivery status) to ensure reliable email delivery.
Do Not Track
Our website does not currently respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals. However, because we do not use cookies or third-party trackers, your browsing is not tracked regardless of your DNT setting.
Data retention
We retain your email address for as long as your subscription is active. If you unsubscribe, your subscription status is updated immediately and you will no longer receive emails. To request complete deletion of your email address from our database, contact us at hello@claudenotes.co. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Children's data
claudenotes is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their email address, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
AI and automated processing
claudenotes content is generated using AI (Claude by Anthropic). This AI processing applies only to publicly available source material -- it does not involve your personal data. We do not use automated decision-making that affects your rights or produces legal effects concerning you.
Unsubscribe and data deletion
Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click. To request complete deletion of your data, contact us at hello@claudenotes.co.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the newsletter or a notice on the website. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
